What is distilled water?
Distilled water is a type of water which has gone through a purification process of evaporation and condensation. The best example is comparing distillation process with the cycle of water on earth which everyone is familiar with.Distillation of water involves boiling water to evaporate water molecules into the air, then the water molecules will evaporates upward towards a blocking material which will help condensate the molecules together into larger water molecules then collected as 'CLEANED' and 'DISTILLED' water.
What is the controversy?
Some people and even doctors believe drinking distilled water everyday will have bad consequences for the human body because distilled water is negatively charged and will try to pull / absorb nutrients from body. Another reason is because distilled water is 'dead water' without any minerals and the absence of minerals is bad for the human body.On the other hand many people and doctors believe distilled water is the purest form of water. It is still natural and will not leach minerals from our body.
Why experts believe distilled water is GOOD?
- It is clean, no chemicals, no minerals, just pure water
- It will remove harmful and dead minerals (toxics) from our body
- We can get missing minerals from food we eat
Why experts believe distilled water is BAD?
- Too pure, no minerals at all
- May leach good minerals from our body
- May become acidic since distilled water is negatively charged and when combined with carbon dioxide will become acidic (I have never experience this - there are millions of gallons of distilled water sitting on grocery store shelves and they are not getting acidic?!?)
- Commercial bottled water industry and soda industry propaganda
Whatever you believe, distilled water is still better than tap water
Whatever you decide and believe after reading this article about distilled water is okay. I just want to make sure everyone know how bad Tap water really are in American (or even most countries).
- Tap water contains many chemicals, such as Chlorine (to clean the water).
- Tap water contains contaminants from miles of pipes it has to travel in.
- Tap water usually contains fluoride (actually not good for human body).
My SOLUTION
After weeks of research. I have decided to test drinking distilled water myself. I have drank distilled water for 2 months 'WITHOUT ANY ADDED MINERAL' just pure distilled water, and I am doing better than before. I have lost weight, have more energy and focus. Whether it may have long term consequences if I keep drinking it daily? I am not sure and I realize I don't have to decide. I now know distilled water is NOT harmful being drank daily for 2 months. So the question is... Why do I have to choose? All I have to do is add natural minerals back to the pure distilled water and voila, I have the perfect water. By adding natural organic minerals from product like this:
Trace Minerals Research - Concentrace Trace Mineral Drops, 8 fl oz liquid
Which dissolves in the distilled water, I should have a CLEAN but MINERALIZE water that I need. It will clean my body and nourish it at the sometime.
For me the choice and solution is clear, but surprisingly I have not seen this solution being written or suggested. Hmm...?
BTW: I do take multi-vitamins daily and I do practice eating healthy.
